"Process is important. I am constantly absorbing the world around me. Visual and factual research is important for any project. I like spending time in the library before I start a project. Sketching is also a vital step to get ideas flowing and work through problems. Writing out a concept is also an important step. In the beginning I lay out exactly what I want to do. After finishing a design I revisit my original concept, noting if I made any changes. This helps me understand my design choices so I can explain what I did and why to my clients."
