Dreams can become reality through faith and perseverance in our collective efforts. It has been a long sought after dream of our community to establish an Armenian Museum in Fresno.
It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome you to our website and invite you to visit our permanent Armenian Art Exhibition Hall housed at the University of California Center in Fresno. We thank and appreciate the University for the opportunities that this wonderful facility provides for the Armenian Museum of Fresno.
The Armenian Museum of Fresno, a California Public Benefit Corporation, was established in 2003 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization by the Armenian Technology Group, Inc. (ATG).
We envision the Museum to be an educational and cultural center to enhance the rich, ethnic, and multicultural fabric of Central California. The Museum will feature the history of the Armenian people and their contributions to the development of the Central Valley. It will provide a forum for the visual and performing arts --including music, literature, and the fine arts--and hold workshops and symposiums.
The Armenian Museum complements our involvement in other organizations and institutions by signifying our collective responsibility toward preserving Armenian heritage. The Museum invites the collaboration of all Armenian-American organizations and community leaders for a common interest and mission.
Together we will help perpetuate our traditions, family values, and culture.
